Hello, My name is Robert Millman, I'm the Director and a Co-producer of the film, LINE IN THE STREET.

My daughter Rachel Millman is my Co-producer, she raised the lion's share of our budget through Indiegogo, and was second camera, and Assistant Director for the production.

We started shooting in Harrisburg, PA on September 11, 2017, and wrapped shooting in mid July of 2018, at the end of the legislative session. The film's first screening was in Albany, NY on December 7, 2018.

I think the film is unique in that it tells a very personal story of the people advocating for redistricting reform, and the entrenched political bosses who  wield power in the legislature.

Mostly, the film is about a specific argument  -- that gerrymandering violates the Pennsylvania State Constitution, irrespective of the US Constitution.

And if that argument can work in Pennsylvania, it can work in other states as well.
