Redistricting Town Hall
Muhlenberg College and campuses across the state
Muhlenberg College, in cooperation the Pennsylvania Political Science Association and the Lehigh Carbon Community College Department of Political Science, will host a statewide, livestreamed, Redistricting Town Hall. All Pennsylvania colleges and universities are invited to participate.
The purpose of the Townhall is to engage communities throughout the state in nonpartisan dialogue about the causes and consequences of redistricting.
The forum will begin at 6:00pm and will begin with a live-streamed panel discussion featuring PA state lawmakers, representatives from Fair Districts PA, the League of Women Voters, and the Pennsylvania Political Science Association.
From 7:00pm until 7:45pm, home colleges and universities are invited to host their own on-campus program (a panel or presentation, or question and answer).
From 7:45 to 8:15pm, Muhlenberg will reconvene—with live-streamed and remote participation via Zoom and email—for a Q&A with the original panelists and all participating colleges and universities. Finally, all attendees will be asked to complete a short online survey at the end of the event sharing their perspectives and experiences with the town hall.
