Redistricting can be done for  political, administrative, school, emergency service, voter, congressional, and electoral boundary lines.  What are the best mapping technologies out there for drawing district lines?

I've only ever used Dave's Redistricting App mainly due to it being free. The app's kinda difficult to work with if you ask me. It frequently freezes and is generally glitchy. I would love to be at a point one day where I'm financially able to afford another software, but, as of now, I don't foresee that being possible for several years.

I strongly recommend checking out Districtr! It's got a great interface, and is really fun to use. Will be interesting to see how Districtr/DRA/DistrictBuilder are shaping up, come 2021.
